Key Responsibilities

  • Managed several mixed capability teams working across entertainment clients, leading on social brand strategy, client communication, and content creation. 
  • Prepared regular and ad-hoc social media reporting documents, with a focus on brand sentiment and content creation efficiency.
  • Led regular brainstorms and ideation sessions for brand accounts and offered support and guidance to junior team members.

Key Achievements

  • Lead global social strategy and content creation for Candy Crush Saga’s 10 Year anniversary campaign, ultimately winning Best PR/Marketing Team at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2023.
  • Managed the Netflix UK social media team and acted as editorial lead for several high-profile launches, including Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Stranger Things S3, and helped to grow the Instagram channel from 1m to 2m followers.

  • Collaborated with editorial and marketing teams to develop engaging social media content strategies for key titles across BBC One, Two, Four, and Masterbrand channels.
  • Scripted and produced social-first video assets using pre-existing BBC footage, and/or key BBC talent.
  • Reactive content lead, specialising in emerging trends and fandoms, and Influencer / Content Creator commissioner.

Key Achievements

  • Created content that generated over 250 Million views on Facebook alone.
  • Received two Lovie awards for my work on the Line Of Duty Season 5 social campaign, and wrote the theme song to the official BBC companion podcast.
  • Developed several long-form social formats, including 5 Minutes With… 

Comedy Central May 2016 – Nov 2017

Key Responsibilities

  • Created written and video content for web and social channels, targeting comedy and youth audiences, focusing on gaming, reactive and trending content.
  • Produced web series, presenter-led formats, and talent interviews, and developed relationships with key comedy management to attract contributors for social video.
  • Co-ordinated social spend with multiple media agencies.

Key Achievements

  • Created, produced, and cast a video game-centric web series where comedians play simulators to prep for real-world work placements.
  • Commissioned and acted as creative lead for satirical viral video, Brexit Means Titanic.
  • Interviewed a Michelin-starred chef to ask which Pokémon would taste best, and what recipes he would make – sadly deleted from the internet.
